Scalable Pilot Programs for Experiential Learning in CCI
Objectives
- Streamline and enhance cybersecurity internships across Virginia.
- Improve the effectiveness of the internship experience for both employers and students.
Methodology
Students and businesses will be provided with:
- General guidelines about experiential learning that are rooted in best practices.
- Multiple surveys throughout the intern period to give feedback on work progress and expectations.
Specifically, in the surveys the students will be asked to:
- Describe their experiences.
- Reflect on their personal growth, application of knowledge, and civic engagement.
- Articulate the importance of what was learned.
And the business will also be asked to describe expectations and experience from employers' point of view.
